Floaters vs curtain
Curtain → A&E; new floaters → same-day dilated exam (dilation alone is not enough)

The demo beside you is not a diagnosis; a normal result does not rule out eye disease and does not replace dilated fundus exam or OCT.
A few long-standing floaters should still have been checked with dilation. A sudden increase or new flashes without a curtain: urgent ophthalmic assessment (same day if possible) — dilation alone is not enough.
